Who plays for the wallabies against the Lions?

IMO

1. Scott Sio
2. Stephen Moore
3. Dan Palmer
4. James Horwill
5. Rob simmons
6. Ed Quirk
7. George Smith
8. Ben Mowen
9. Will Genia
10. James O’connor
11. Joe Tomane
12. Pat Mccabe
13. Adam Ashley-cooper
14. Dom Shipperley (dont think henry speight is eligible until the end of the year)
15. Jesse Mogg

16. Saia Faingaa
17. James Slipper
18. hugh Mcmeniman
19. Jake Schatz
20. Nic White
21. christian Lealiifano
22. Digby Ioane

I know they are a bit down on experience…but they really are in great form…besides the lions won’t have a clue what they are about to be hit with.

IMO guys like Mowen, Schatz, Sio, Palmer, Tomane, Lealiifano, Quirk are just the type of men who jump in regardless of Caps and play like madmen.

So whats your opinion?

Like Swoope, close to your forwards. I think Hooper and Gill are the equal of Pocock and they dumped Smith for Pocock. Mogg has to be fullback. He deserves his chance. Wouldn’t let “won’t pass, won’t kick” McCabe near the team.

This is what my team would look like. Not too different from your forward pack, I did try experimenting with the backs a little, I think Leailiifano is ready to fire, if not, I’d put Berrick Barnes there so long as he’s cleared of injury but his defence in recent internationals has been school grade at best. George Smith will provide a huge inspiration for the rest of the team and he his experience in the Wallabies is second to none, looking at the current roster. AAC is also still a valuable utility player and like Smith, has experience to back it up.

Jesse Mogg deserves his start at fullback over Folau. I would have Folau on the bench as wing cover, if you can’t go through the Lions then at least try and put a ball up and have Izzy get up then and get it (ala AFL and Brisbane Broncos style as seen last week). Hooper deserves a spot on the bench too, a feisty player best coming off the bench.

I wouldn’t be underestimating the Lions, it’s great form from the Aussies vs great form and experience from the Lions. I hope all games are won within 7 points, it’ll make for good rugby as we’ve come to know from past Lion tours.

My 2 cents, can’t wait for international rugby!
