I remember years back of hearing “and it’s…Buckshot Jones into the wall!”. Whatever happened to that guy?

  • He was actually in line of getting the UPS Sponsorship in 21 on the 44 instead of Dale Jarrett, but he signed his contract and shipped by FedEx and lost it. And he had no talent. He is now working at home with kids I believe. He still does autograph requests.

  • Yes, he sucked as a stock car driver, but did well as a sprint car driver. Last I heard, he is currently away from the racing scene and working a “normal” job.

  • My mom loved that guy. Just because of the name. He was an ok Nationwide driver but couldn’t handle the competition in Cup. I read that he works in land development and real estate in Gwinnett County, GA.
