  • Looking at the remaining teams, I see no way that the Heat don’t at least make the finals. While the Bulls have put up a great fight, especially given that three of their important (maybe their three most important) players are either not playing or playing injured (Rose, Noah, Deng.) However, the Heat seem to just be too much for that team. Looking at the other Eastern Conference teams, I see no way the Knicks could beat the Heat 4 out of 7 games, especially with how they have been playing as of late (Carmelo has been shooting around 40% or lower, and had only 1 assist each of the last two games, and JR Smith is shooting terribly and has had 0 assists the last two games.) The more likely situation is that the Pacers make it, but I don’t think they have the pieces to take down Miami either. Maybe if they can really slow down the series and turn it into a post battle, the size Indiana has could do some damage against Miami’s small front court, but otherwise I think the Heat take the east.

In the west it seems like the Spurs are ready to close out the Series (up 3-2, having just won a game by 18…) Maybe Steph Curry can recover from his ankle injury. If he, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes all start scoring well, they may be able to beat anyone, but unfortunately for them I don’t see it happening. In the Grizzlies/Thunder series, I think the Grizzlies are about to take the series, because they have more depth and scoring options right now, as well as the fact that it is a home game and they are 19-1 at home since February 8. I think the Western Conference finals is really a 50/50 if it is Spurs/Grizzlies… but if the Spurs win I could realistically see them managing to beat the Heat in 6 or 7 games. The Grizzlies I’m not as sure of. They are a quality team but they lack experience in big games, so it would be interesting to see.

    Right now, I’ll say:

    60% Miami Heat

    25% San Antonio Spurs

    10% Memphis Grizzlies

    5% Indiana Pacers

  • I honestly have the Pacers beating the Heat in 7. The Pacers beating the Grizzlies in 6 or 7

    Indiana Pacers 🙂

  • I hate to admit it but the heat are hands down winning it again this year, the ONLY thing that would change that is if Lebron or Wade were hurt to the point that they could not play at all for an entire series.

  • Well looking at the teams right now it’s: Spurs vs Golden State, Mem vs OKC, Heat and Bulls and Knicks vs Pacers. If we were to say that the teams with 3 wins already will win the series, then it’ll be Grizzlies vs Spurs and Heat vs Pacers AGAIN in the conf finals. Grizzlies will most likely take the west this year, while the heat will probably take the east. In the end, the heats probably gunna end up being the champs again. That’s if you speculate it like me, and I think it’s quite realistic too.
