In Luke 24:17, the way the news was spread and interpreted by the people was such that the truth was tainted. I would just like to give my response to the above question in an attempt to proclaim the gospel to all around the world. Please feel free to do likewise if you wish. The media news in general is bad news. There’s bad article after bad and then the occasional good story, however the balance tips the scale to bad news. Jesus had to explain to the people, in this instance setting the scene, Jesus’ body was gone from the tomb after his crusifixion. The people listened to the bad news from the media of the day, and were perplexed and confused. Jesus had to explain to them that this event had to happen like this so that he could save the world from sin and lead them to heaven. Still people listen to the bad news and become stuck in this routine, listening to bad news all the time, then a little good news is put their way.
