I notice that my mind doesn’t drift as much if I am reading a book that doesn’t interest me. Is it because I want this bad book to be over with quicker? Does my mind subconsciously go to other thoughts to savor a book that I like? What do think?

Maybe its because when you are reading a book that u like and are really into u dont want anything or anyone to disturb, so much so that even the littlest things will disturb you….if that makes any sense…
