  • Maybe to customize their car? If I had a Pontiac GTO or G8, I’d love to do a Holden conversion to it. It’s about having something unique. Since I’ve never been to Australia, I couldn’t say how many Holdens have been rebadged like that, but I know that I’ve never seen a Pontiac rebadged as a Holden or Chevrolet over here in the states.

    I can’t imagine that embarrassment would have anything to do with it, since Chevrolet and Holden are both GM products.
