They typically get paid thousands, not hundreds, the women anyway.
It’s not about education or what people think they deserve. It’s about what sells. People want porn and spend tons of money on it. There is a huge demand for it. There is a very small percentage of the population willing to do porn, so short supply and huge demand equals a lot of money. There is no shortage of college educated people. As a matter of fact there is a surplus in many fields right now.
Education and academic success do not translate to success in the real world. If it did then a large percentage of millionaires and billionaires would not be college or high school dropouts. I got a degree to get a crappy low paying job I ended up hating. I’ve made much more money is businesses completely unrelated to my degree.

The money they earn is proportional to the amount of money the producers can earn from the final product. So if a person is more famous then the movie will sell more so the producer and/or studio will make a lot of money from that movie as compared to some just random person off of the street. So in the end that girl will be paid more to make that movie.

Why are actors paid thousands to millions of dollars to be filmed reciting lines?? They don’t deserve it especially when considering theater acting involves more stress/talent but they get pain way less. Porn isn’t as easy as it looks and plus its a billion dollar industry. Having sex with multiple people all day long over and over again may sound easy and fun but try having sex all day let along having someone film it and you’ll see how tiring it gets.
