Well I just posted another question and this came up so why don’t Christians agree with pre-marital sex as i just think this is totally ridiculous as sex is a natural part of life. And if you say “impure” please say what you mean by this.

The bible teaches sex is for the procreation of the species only.
Thats why they dont believe in birth control or masturbation.
So sex before marriage = recreational sex
which is against the teachings of the bible.
Christians don’t really care about premarital sex.

No. The bibles teaches that a husband and wife should never withhold sex from one another except by mutual consent for the purpose of fasting for prayer.
Sex-for-procreation-only is a Baptist invention and Baptist are heathens.
There are previous cultural structures wherein premarital intercourse IS marriage. And in some, 2 single human beings slumbering decrease than the comparable roof meant they have been now married. And particular, i’m speaking approximately medieval christian cultures.
I am all for premarital post-marital and just about any kind of sex there is including 3rd marital. It depends on the church and their interpretation of the scriptures. Oh I am an ordained minister.
Aside from the whole purity issue it has a way of producing bastard children .The authors of the bible didn’t like single mothers then anymore than we do today ( and they didn’t have WIC and food stamps back then ).
While sex may in fact be natural , a lot of the constraints we live under in society are not.

They believe that premarital sex is something for animals and the humans are better than animals
Most Christians I know do have pre-marital sex. They just don’t admit to it.
They take that position as a result of biblical teaching.
Aside from that, sure, they’d agree that sex is natural. They’re taught to deny these otherwise natural urges in order to please God. That’s the long of it.
yes it is natural and for dogs it is to so do you compare yourself to a dog. reason for this is simple do you over eat ? do you drink to much soda do you indulge your self in drinking to much well do you consider your self hooked on any thing if you answered yes to any of thses what makes you think you would not get hooked on the sex act it self and ignore the importance of marriage
Why would you put yourself in a situation where you are not committed to being with someone for the rest of your life? put yourself at risk of being heartbroken, having a bad rep, or being pregnant? when that someone can leave you.
