Although polugamy is allowed in Islam, it is only permissable to have 4 wives. A Muslim man cannot marry a second potential wife if he belived he cannot treat them both equally, given them both attention and love and respect that both wives would need unconditionally. In my town i know a lot of Muslims, though i know only 1 family that has two wives, you will be surprised to know that that man hs only 2 children, one from each wife. Polugamy is not widely practised, only a few people actually practise it. It is allowed though. I watched a documentary on tv about families with 2 wives, they were not Muslims. As well as families having like 10-15 kids, they were not Muslims. I hope you can see where i’m going with this..

First of all, we don’t know whether Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world.

If you want to count those who were born into an Islamic family and do not adhere to the horrendous practices of stoning adulterers, killing homosexuals, amputation of thieves, killing of apostates, punishing the victims of rape in an honor killing and so on, then it probably is the fastest growing religion by population only.

To answer your question. If it is indeed the fastest growing religion, then it is because it has a strong pestilential element in that it seeks to kill or conquer all non-Muslims, and because the penalty of apostasy is death.

This means Islam refuses to let go of its member permanently on pain of death.

And BTW, only less than 2% of Muslim marriages are with more than one wife. Have you ever actually seen a man with two wives?

@ Lulu Cho: “Islamic science” is a joke. Everything Muslims claim as some sort of miraculous science described in the Quran was already known by the Chinese, Greeks, Egyptians, Sumerians etc., thousands of years before Islam reared its ugly little head.

Islam has this day in a way of saying where they just go out and kill people weather that like it or not so people nowadays change religions because if your Muslim you will not be killed so I have heard !!!

Islam purpose is to Spread it at any cost and kill all non muslims if they dont convert them self.

To do this u need a large population of muslims and logically F** many wifes u can make lot of children thus contributing for the quantity of islam. This is the reason why Islam is growing so fast then the crops.

So I have read all the answers and i will only say one thing. All non-muslims hate us so much, yet you can’t get rid of Qur’an. You know why? Because Allah said it will be protected forever!
