6 month old baby, skipped October period completely has been normal…..?

My baby is 6 months old and I have had “regular” periods since he was born. My husband was “fixed” but only went back for the first test and no more. I had a period around the 21st of September and it was over by the 28th. I have not had one at all for October.. Since my husband was fixed we havent used any other birth control because we dont need it. I know the obvious is to take a test but I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen since I had a baby not soo long ago….

Update:

I realize no one on the internet can tell me if I am pregnant or not! I was just asking if anyone had a similar situation etc. I did breastfeed but had to stop at 6 weeks so that isn’t something that has changed. I will probably get a test tomorrow and see what it says.

  • i would say its your hormones getting back to normal, BUT it is possible to get pregnant almost straight away after child birth and it is still possible (although unlikey) that your husband may still be able to get you pregnant. i would suggest a pregnancy test anyway just to be sure, but im thinking its just your hormones. are you/did you breast feed? if you have recently stopped breast feeding this might be the reason for the hormone changes and the missed period.
