How good is a career in an Advertising Agency .. What are the growth prospect considering that e-advertising is more preferred these days ? Is it better to study a generalized MBA rather than a specialized course in Advertising ?

no certainly nt c in the last 2 yr when the economy hit by recession the only industry that see the growth in revenue is this industry as a owner of an agency myself i have seen a growth in business.c newspaper readership is growing t.v viewership is growing with all this ipl etc.so certainly its not a dying industry.

Unfortunately, if a company is going south advertising is pretty much the first to go. I don’t know enough about Advertising to tell you what to do, but speaking with an advisor would probably be very beneficial. They are typically given “the numbers”, if you will, on how many jobs are available in a given field. Personally I would think if you could do some type of e-advertising, as you mentioned, you might be more likely to find a steady job. As you said, it is much more prevalent these days.
