How good is a career in an Advertising Agency .. What are the growth prospect considering that e-advertising is more preferred these days ? Is it better to study a generalized MBA rather than a specialized course in Advertising ?

  • no certainly nt c in the last 2 yr when the economy hit by recession the only industry that see the growth in revenue is this industry as a owner of an agency myself i have seen a growth in business.c newspaper readership is growing t.v viewership is growing with all this ipl etc.so certainly its not a dying industry.

  • Unfortunately, if a company is going south advertising is pretty much the first to go. I don’t know enough about Advertising to tell you what to do, but speaking with an advisor would probably be very beneficial. They are typically given “the numbers”, if you will, on how many jobs are available in a given field. Personally I would think if you could do some type of e-advertising, as you mentioned, you might be more likely to find a steady job. As you said, it is much more prevalent these days.

    Recommendations for makers of custom business cards?

    Due to my unique business pursuits, I am looking for a company that provides business cards [which won't break the budget] with the following features: 1) Custom paper. As in, NOT the standard bleached white cards. Something different. Maybe something with a more organic look, texture or weave, or non-bleached. I want a decent amount of paper options. 2) Custom card cuts / shapes. As in, NOT the standard rectangle of 3.5 x 2 inches. Maybe something that is narrower (3.5 x 1.5). Or something with die cut edges or rounded corners, to give a more artistic feel. I want several options of shape or design. 3) Metallic ink. My logo is black and SILVER. I absolutely must have a business card printer that can use metallic inks. ------- The look of my business cards is like a vintage / organic chic. So the metallic ink is meant to be set off against the more organic or vintage aspects of the paper.     Do you hate t.v. advertisements?

    It annoys the cr@p out of me when I get interested in a program on free to air t.v. and after about 4 minutes (if that) you get 3 or 4 minutes of advertisements. I would watch cable t.v. but most of those shows are repeats. All in all with free to air, a one hour show turns out to be only about 35 minutes long. I usually watch stuff I've pre-recorded but sometimes that's a hassle.✅ Answers ?
