Im just now getting into affiliate marketing?

I’ve recently been researching affiliate marketing and im going to be creating a website and i have found multiple websites who accept affiliates and want people to advertise for them on your website. and im staying in the same topic of advertising that im going to be doing and my main question is, am i able to advertise multiple companys on one website? such as i have a sports page and i advertise under armour and nike on the same website.. is that ok? sense they both sell the same stuff or should i only be advertising one? im not sure how it all works exactly. im still researching lol

thanks

  • It’s a common practice, though I have to wonder if it effects your advertisers approval if the competitors are already there.

It’s likely that you will have months to ponder while getting the new site a attract enough traffic to make advertising worthwhile. It is wise to be focused on a topic from the start.

An unrelated what not to do note, some stores have adsense ads right on their order pages, if not blocked, competitors can place adwords ads on that sales page offering a better deal elsewhere.

  • You can allow competitors to advertise on your website. Make sure you research keywords and how they pull in the right advertisers.

  • In most instances it’s accepted, however I wouldn’t confuse your customers by promoting the same product with different companies. Choose different products from different affiliates. If you’re promoting the best pair of sneakers, don’t have a lot of other articles promoting other sneakers unless you’re running an estore type website.

  • It doesn’t really matter as long as you stick to the same categories of the webite.

  • Trial & error is the best method to find out what content works best for your site. Some merchants may be upset if you promote them alongside competitors, which would hurt your relationship with them; however, other merchants may not mind. Try different strategies with different merchants to see what brings you optimal results. You can join various networks to see what merchants you can connect with or there are services like Skimlinks that combine all the networks for you and give you access to more merchants with higher profitability. Good luck with your website!

Recommendations for makers of custom business cards?

Due to my unique business pursuits, I am looking for a company that provides business cards [which won't break the budget] with the following features: 1) Custom paper. As in, NOT the standard bleached white cards. Something different. Maybe something with a more organic look, texture or weave, or non-bleached. I want a decent amount of paper options. 2) Custom card cuts / shapes. As in, NOT the standard rectangle of 3.5 x 2 inches. Maybe something that is narrower (3.5 x 1.5). Or something with die cut edges or rounded corners, to give a more artistic feel. I want several options of shape or design. 3) Metallic ink. My logo is black and SILVER. I absolutely must have a business card printer that can use metallic inks. ------- The look of my business cards is like a vintage / organic chic. So the metallic ink is meant to be set off against the more organic or vintage aspects of the paper. Any recommendations for a business card creator that can print large quantities for an "affordable" price would be much appreciated. Obviously, online would be preferred. But this being a custom job, I'm willing to look anywhere in the Read more

    Do you hate t.v. advertisements?

It annoys the cr@p out of me when I get interested in a program on free to air t.v. and after about 4 minutes (if that) you get 3 or 4 minutes of advertisements. I would watch cable t.v. but most of those shows are repeats. All in all with free to air, a one hour show turns out to be only about 35 minutes long. I usually watch stuff I've pre-recorded but sometimes that's a hassle.✅ Answers ? Best Answer Yes they are ridiculous, except for that magpie add its funny, and the new super ad "the jingle is from little things big things grow", I cant get that one out of my head lol, and if I have to sit through one more infomercial I'll throw the tv out the window lol 🙂 - Chosen by Asker if do you want your product promotion then you will have to leave t.v. advertisements after that you can start internet my means you can use website promotion...
