  • Geothermal energy. It’s usually only viable in areas with significant volcanic activity, which the UK is notably lacking in.

    However, Iceland produces an abundance of it; they could produce much more than they could ever use themselves. Problem is, they have trouble getting it off the island. If the UK invested in a project to connect to Iceland’s power grid, it might be a good way to generate energy.
