The only tick collar that vets recommend is called PrevenTic collar.
Otherwise, you need to use Frontline Plus on your dog. There is also a new Frontline product called Frontline Tritac, which kills ticks faster and makes them detach.
As important as it is to keep ticks off your dog and yourself, I wouldn’t even bother with a cheap flea/tick collar. They are not safe, and they don’t work.
If you have cats, BEWARE!!! If you have cats, you should use Frontline Plus.
The ticks wont just go away you’ll ought to take him to a vet or groomer to have them removed.
