can my dog have his rabies shot one month early?

I need to get his license and he cant get it without his proof of rabies. His rabies are not due til next month and they wont give him a license if he is due with in 3 months. So if I get the shots now I can get the license now.

  • I am a vet tech and we routinely give vaccines early. It will not harm your pet at all

  • We were not given proof of shots for one of our dogs when we got him. We saw the records but the woman would not hand them over because of a long story. Anyone, the vet knew the situation and went ahead and gave him all of his shots over again so we would have the shots on record. It didn’t hurt him at all.

  • Yes, this is okay. Conventional Vets will give the Rabies Vaccination at 12 weeks. Holistic vets will usually wait until 30 weeks. How old is your puppy?

You will of course have to talk with your vet about this.
