My sister has a del computer and it was working fine last night, then she shut it down, normal shut down form the start menu before she went to bed and now it won’t start up. The buttons on the inside are all connected where they’re supposed to be and the lights in the back are on. The monitor also has power but the tower wont turn on. We’ve tried flicking the switch in the back off, and using different outlets but nothing works.

the switch on the back will not clear what is in cmos.
hold the power button down for seconds with the power cord unplugged the try it again.
Sis may have hit sleep instead of shut down, thats common

You may have a virus. You will need to reinstall the OS, get all your goodies off first or you will lose them. If you take your machine to a shop, tell them to save your goodies, and I will bet new York to a brick you have a useless free AV
