Funny you should ask this! Just yesterday, some scientists in Poland just discovered that ants actually have TWO brains! One brain is actually a separate organism that controls the ant, while the other half is similar to a robot — if functions using electricity. I myself am an ant enthusiast, and I am glad that others share my hobby.

every living animal has a brain, otherwise it couldn’t actually do anything, well, actually, there’s a vsauce video about what we can do without brains but that’s going off the subject. the simple awnser is yes. ants have brains.

At night the worker ants move the eggs and larvae deep into the nest to protect them from the cold. During the daytime, the worker ants move the eggs and larvae of the colony to the top of the nest so that they can be warmer. If a worker ant has found a good source for food, it leaves a trail of scent so that the other ants in the colony can find the food. Army Ants are nomadic and they are always moving. They carry their larvae and their eggs with them in a long column.
