Eleocharis parvula reproduction?

I bought Eleocharis parvula dwarf for my aquarium, I was wondering how can I reproduce the plants?
Should I cut a stalk or root and replant it or does it reproduce itself like java moss?

Wait. It sends out runners. After these are established you can uproot them and replant as necessary
