Have a wasp trapped in my guest room, what do I do?

I was coming home from grocery shopping five days ago when I felt something fall down my shirt. I thought it was a blossom from our tree and went inside. When I bent down to pet my dog I felt such a pain my left breast I thought I was having a heart attack. I realised something was in my shirt so I pulled it off and a wasp flew out. It’s now hanging out on the window in my guest bedroom. My husband is EXTREMELY allergic to bees and wasps stings and I’ve developed a horrible rash as a result of my sting. I’ve heard these little bastards can live up to two months! How the do I get rid of it? I’m almost at the point of calling the Terminix man in to squish it and spray!

  • Take a half full coke bottle and open the lid… He will eventually crawl in there and get stuck… P. S. why don’t you just open the window?

  • First open all windows and if the window is unlocked in that bedroom try opening it from the outside and also make sure your husband is in a car or somewhere secure away from the wasp. And if you can’t open the window, open the front door and close every door except that one, then open the guest bedroom door and run for your life. Hope it helped. And p.s. get your sting checked out!

  • Set a trap, get an old jam jar and fill it with water, close the lid shake it, take the lid off and it will crawl into it and die

  • Kill it yourself. You may get stung. Make sure your husband is not there when you try. You could turn down the thermostat to a very chilly temperature. Insects go to sleep when it’s cold. That would be expensive though.

  • Kill it with fire!!!!!!!!!!!
