How do i remove a cd from a car stereo!?

My friend put a CD in his new truck, my CD to be exact, and not it won’t play or eject how do we get it out??? Its a 2011 dodge 15 5.7 stock radio

  • Needle nose pliers work – you have to be gentle but firm.

    Of course the dealer will sell you a whole new stereo. Check the internet for shops that specialize in car stereo repair. They have good advice.

    This is a long shot, but try disconnecting the car battery for 10 minutes. Doing so may cause the CD player to “reset” itself and it may work properly.

    Then I’d take apart the console, to get at the CD player. remove it tilt: see if the CD slides out, if not extract it. it’s not hard to take apart the stereo.
