All you need is a cheap tape recorder and a blank tape

You need a medium but this is very dangerous. Usually the safest way of capturing the images of mediums is to throw a house party and invite young people only. Like ages 14-17. This will be enough energy to be picked up on electronic voice phenomenon equipment.
