Why do people HATE Tony Stewart?

i don’t hate him..

I don’t hate Tony, I think he cn be a little bit of a hot head sometimes, and can speak whats on his mind.

What is the problem with this Troy — him and Dale Jr. every answer and question he is so negative, if you don’t like him go away, pick on someone else.

I have heard of Tony doing some good things for people but those rarely get mention, usually you hear more when he speaks his mind, we are suppose to have freedom of speak, no Tony is not my favorite driver, I like him but —— is my favorite — Thanks

The word hate is a very strong emotion, I was told that someone hated me a few years back, it set me back for a moment or two I replied hate, like I said it is a strong emotion.

Because Smoke really is that good. He speaks his mind. He is what nascar needs more of. Oh and for those of you who say that he wreaks people all of the time, I remember 2 times in the past 3 years that he was at fault for a wreck. So lets see why do people hate him, Because he is the best driver ever, First person to win the USAC triple crown, 2 cup championships, Iroc championship. If it has wheels on it Smoke can race it and win in it, thats why people don’t like him, because he beats their driver an a regular basis.

I didn’t like him that much…until the Daytona race where Kenseth bumbed him..then Tony cam across the track to spin him out….

He has the attitude of a true Saturday night racer…a racer, not a driver.

People do not like one who speaks their mind…Tony does this….and is disliked by many because of it…..His attitude and actions/comments are usually right on the mark..unfiltered and straight forward

DW is one who does not have good feeling about Tony…watch DW’s face when the topic is Stewart….never has anything nice to say, never compliments his ability or good moves……he is usually quiet or attempting to think up something whitty to say about something else……

Though…I do enjoy the quiet from DW when Stewart is mentioned….it is about the only time I do not have to hear that whiny annoying voice during the race

Probably for a lot of the same reasons they bash Junior….Jealousy. I am a Junior fan, but I also like Tony Stewart. No reason to hate him… He is very down to earth, raised in a small town, still lives there. He speaks the truth and that scares a whole lot of people. Kinda like Junior, if you don’t like the answers, don’t ask the questions.

Tony does a lot for people that nobody ever talks about. He has driven all kinds of race cars and is extremely talented. He and Junior both have a lot of the “old school” qualities in them and neither one wants to be a pretty boy or needs to be.

Talent & knowledge of the sport scares a lot of people so they choose not to like the ones who have it. Go figure…

The weight thing is a seperate issue. You can love Tony and still acknowledge his newfound gerth. Tony Stewart IS the best driver on every track, in ANY car. But he is starting to look like Jimmy Spencer.

If he doesn’t care then I don’t care. Keep contending for the win every week and give us fat boys some hope.

I don’t hate Tony Stewart & I hate nobody. I may not like him as one of my favorites. Why do people hate other drivers like Gordon & Johnson or is that okay to ask? All drivers have their fans as well as their haters. Someone always asks this question about other drivers too. I may not like Stewart, but he is one of best drivers today as is Johnson & Gordon

I don’t hate Stewart either, in fact my old avatar was a pic of me sitting in the 20. But anyway, Tony may shoot his mouth off but he has the talent to back it up. Tony actually can be pretty funny(oh come on tell me you didn’t laugh you a*s off at “Run for you life, Zippy”), does a hell of a lot for charity, and for the most part is cool with the fans. I’ve always liked Tony, even before he was in nascar. He’s a top driver and always one to watch for the excitement.

I think he is a great driver too, but he comes across as an arrogant know-it-all snob in interviews. Most drivers are friendly even during interviews. I wonder if NASCAR will penalize him for his abrupt comments yesterday as conduct unbecoming of a driver and dock him 1 points, fine Gibbs $1,0 and suspend his crew chief for 6 races which seems to be the only penalties they know how to give out any longer regardless of how minor the infraction is.

Tony Is My Driver and I am very Proud to say that.People dislike Tony for all the wrong reasons.One is because he is not afraid to say what is on his mind and blow his top,He is Human and He is a Amazing diver,Look he came in 2nd today !!!
