How to install a 2 prong car switch to my speakers?

I have to extra speakers that I don’t want own sometimes I tired but didn’t work it turn every speaker off and I only want two that I can turn off and on….or do I need another kind of switch

its VERY simple. what your looking for is a toggle switch. you simply will cut the wire ( make sure there is no current flowing through the wire of course) and strip both ends, you can either crimp them to the blades or solder them.
