Just to be correct, Pandora is a radio app for Android phones right?

There are a number of ways you can play music from your android phone to your car stereo speakers, i will list them in no specific order.

FM transmitters, normally a cigarette light attachment type accessory, charges your phones whilst you drive, it basically scans the air waves for a free frequency and broadcasts the music on that and your radio basically recieves that, however so can everyone else in a small area. Most are bulky, vary in quality and in an area with lots of radio stations such as London you may have to change the frequency several times during one journey.

Line In Wire: Essentially a male to male headphone wire which you plug into your phones headphone socket and into your cars Aux In socket, quality will be degraded and songs may not sound as punchy or clear

USB: Android are notorious for having compatibility using USB cabkes to transfer music, its not as great as Apples solution (boo to Apple, Android FTW), you may have to invest in a USB OTG Cable but these may or may not charge your phone and are known not to work with Apps such as Pandora.

Bluetooth (this is my current set up): you must have a Bluetooth enabled car or fit a Bluetooth car radio, this streams the music digitally over the Bluetooth protocol from your phone to the Radio which then plays it, on the flip side you can skip forward, back, play and stop songs from your radio or steering wheel (if you have to fit a Radio to do this you will need to purchase a separate stalk cable). On the plus side with this as well most radios will give you hands free operation for your phone. HOWEVER you may still need a cigarette charger for your phone as using BT can take a hit on the battery.
