I have a half lab and half border collie. Love this dog. She freaking eats everything. I buy her chew toys from the pet store, tore up in 24 or less. Buy her brain toys, was told this breed is smart. She figures them out within 2hrs or less. Then eats and destroys it. So I go get more. I give her attention, feed her well, give her total love. She even gets along with are old grumpy dog. My wife wants to get rid of her. She ate a hole(actually 3) in my wife’s Egypt shone sheets. My wife came unglued. She chased the dog rite out of the house. What do I do to help stop the chewing. She even ate a hole in the wall one night. I fixed before the wife saw it. She does this in the night when we sleep. She’s a year old last month. I don’t want to loose my dog.

Crate her when unsupervised, take up jogging and log 1-5 miles with her every morning, and find a local training club and start working toward a dog sport (obedience, agility, rally, tracking, etc).
Your dog is bored stiff and is being left unattended to make up her own fun for hours on end. Teach her to CHANNEL her energy into your daily jogs and training sessions, the training will have the added benefit of teaching her impulse control.
Kennel her at night in a place where if she whines and barks she won’t disturb anyone
