  • When we went to child support court and my ex was determined by the court to be the father, they automatically change the BC adding him as the father.

    Check with the state the BC was issued in, if you went through court for child support-you may already have been added!

    If you were not married to the mother at the time of birth, you may need to establish Recognition of Parentage. I believe the forms are different from state to state, so start with the links above and ask what they need from you.
