my dad and brother are like experts in building and making things, and now i want to do it too, but i dont knpow what to build! not a shelf or anything like that, thats too easy, it can need electricity, i just need ideas on what to make
my brother is making a drink cooler right now, its like a small container that keeps drinks cool for a long time
what can i make?! i want to make something that takes time and isnt very easy to make

Try a Weekender yacht. year olds used to build them during fairs.
An easier project would be a wine cooler, you simply use the peltier coolers for computer heat sinks to cool an insulated box in which you have racks for the wine, an old mechanical thermostat could control the temperature. You’d probably want a windowed door and use magnets to seal it. I’d imagine your brother’s cooler is pretty much the same thing.

Make your own inch reflecting telescope. This requires skill, research, and it is something that more than likely neither your dad or brother has built but is still doable. My guess is such a project would get their respect as well. Look up: “How to build your own inch reflecting telescope”, on the net and there is tons of information and sites to get the equipment.
i have found woodworking projects fun to design and build. lot’s of options, many types of wood to choose from, can stain, paint, or leave natural.
from small jewelry box, to medium nightstand, to big foot locker to store bedding.
shelving can be fun if you come up with a unique more detailed or functional design.
You could always make a mini model of your house out of toothpicks.
