If i plug an auxilary cord into my car amp, will it play my ipod?

I just bought an older truck with no built-in auxiliary port but it has new speakers and a Bazooka CSA2.3 amp under my driver’s seat. The amp has 4 input port which are all connected to my radio right now by cords… if i take those cords out and put in an auxiliary cord, will it play my iPod? THANKS!

  • You can get an RCA to aux cord and then get 2 double male single female rca splitters and it should work. The bad thing about doing it like this is that the only audio processing being done will be whats coming straight out of the headphone jack so you may not be able to make it sound real good. And depending on the power rating of you headphone jack and how sensitive the gain on the amp is it may not be very loud. Usually better to have a Processing unit in the equation.
  • If it has the red and white rca female ends, you can buy a male rca end with an aux cord and plug it into the amp. You may need an app with a equalizer to adjust the sound.

  • Yes, but only through one speaker. The rest will be pushing white noise.
