My hubby & I have been together for 6 years, and lately all we can do is fight! We’ve gone through some serious tests in the past few years. He was heavily addicted to prescription pain pills almost a year & 1/2 ago. so much so that i kicked him out! I gave him the ultimatum Pills or your family!!!! He choose us and went through the detox and has been clean for over a year! which i am thankful for, but we fight over money & the fact that we dont have any!! we literally live off of $1 a wk of my income & $150 of his! (b/c my dad’s buisness is in hardship right now!) we also have 2 kids. I feel like he doesnt respect me or even care when i tell him that i feel unloved. I love him very much, but.. is this normal.. or are we doomed!?

Everyone has money issues. You would be stupid to push your husband away because of them.
If you feel like he doesnt respect you or show you love, that’s a different issue. Do you just tell him you arent happy or do you tell what exactly it is that you’re missing? What is you want? Hugs? Compliments? Time, help?? There are lots of different ways to feel and show love and every person is different. He may just not know what it is you need.
MOney issue effect people but if he is detox and clean give him a chance, if you leave him and next few years he does well and your still in a rut , how? lol talk to him
The number one cause of divorce is financial issues. You two need to find a healthier way of dealing with the money or lack there of.
Sounds all too familiar!! I felt that way at 6 years and I feel that way at 14. Don’t stay if it continues.
although he is financially insecure the least he could do is love you and make you feel loved…
