Kennedy or Lily for our girl?

I found the name Kennedy in a baby name book and fell in love with it, but now I’ve grown to love Lily too. And I just can’t decide. Any suggestions (BTW the last name is Price) ???

  • Lily, Kennedy is a Scottish/Irish surname that means “Ugly Head”.

  • I like both names also. Lily does have a better meaning than kennedy which means ugly head. I dont know if you have a middle name in mind already but I think these names are very cute together. Lily Kennedy Price or Kennedy Lily Price.

  • I like the way Lily Price sounds better than the way Kennedy Price sounds. By the way, what are you thinking about for middle names?

  • Lily

  • Two very different styles.

The honest truth is that I despise the name Kennedy. It’s not at all cute. It begins and ends with Hard Consonanants….K-D is a bad idea for any name, especially one for a girl. There are few names this harsh.

Lily is a beautiful name. I think that a girl would prefer to wear a graceful but spunky name rather than a harsh surname. (Some surnames are not harsh and have a pretty sound, like Madison, Hadley.)

  • Lily Kennedy Price ♥

  • Lily

  • Definitely Lily.

  • My favourite is Lily.

Why? Well Lily is cute, feminine and has this really light breezy feel. Lily is generally gorgeous and looks effortlessly elegant. Lily works on all ages and is simply priceless furthermore Lily flows well with your surname Price. Lily Price is classy. Whereas Kennedy for me reminds me of the American President and I think it’s masculine more than feminine.

  • Kennedy kinda sound stuck up to me. I dont know, Lily is like a classic beautiful name. But honestly what ever feels right. Kennedy Price sounds a little toooo stuck up.

  • Lily for sure. Why Kennedy was in a baby name book in the girl’s section I don’t know.
