Left foot turning inward when walking after exercise?

After a couple of months of running 5-6 days a week my left foot has started to turn inward when I walk. I have never had this kind of problem before. I have stopped running, and I am wondering if this will cure itself with rest or if I need to go to a Doctor.

  • If this wasn’t happening before I would think it is caused by muscle tightness, quite possibly somewhere in your hip. If you straighten your left foot plant you may feel the strain and thus determine which muscle needs stretching.
