  • Easiest way to deal with bad breath is a product called Plaque Off (you can buy it on line.) It’s a powder which you sprinkle a tiny amount on your pooch’s food every day. My boys all have it to keep their teeth clean, and there’s a human version too. My old boy had a beautiful mouth at the age of 13. You need to give an occasional bone or dental chew to rub the plaque off and reveal sparkly white gnashers underneath. I never met a dog yet who was happy to have his or her teeth brushed! This way’s much easier.

Just by the by, my young dog has a habit when he’s lying down of an evening. He puts his back foot right into his mouth, picks his teeth with his claws, then licks the plaque off his foot! Took me ages to work out what he was doing.

  • You can buy fresh breath tabs in pets smart, I was going to suggest denta stix until you said she’d had 13 teeth out.

Could also be what you feed her on, if it’s tinned food maybe try her on more natural food like natures diet.

  • There are many products at Pets At Home,

    Pet Dental Kit

    Tooth Wipes

One of my Chihuahua’s hate there teeth being touched or shown so I get dental chews, they look yellow and square, they chew them. Unfortunately I can’t remember the exact name for this but I do know I bought them from Pets At Home.

If none of these products help just go in and talk to them, failing that talk to your vet.

Also you could try giving your dog apples, try cutting it up so its like pineapple chunks.

    Good luck x

  • Bad breath can be a sign of medical problems including dental so i would advice get her checked out by your vet.

  • Give it to the local Cantonese restaurant deep fried with chili sauce yummy

  • Brush her teeth using doggy toothpaste and doggy toothbrush you can find at PetsMart. It helps their heart, and also helps them live longer to brush their teeth. Also, it may be the food you are giving her.

  • Brush her teeth. They also have dog mints check petsmart.
