  • I’ve experienced regression hypnosis many times & really enjoy it.

I have a relative, someone very close to me, that is trained & certified but she only does this for family & friends…not in business, in other words. Because we’re close, I trust her & feel very comfortable with her. That is extremely important for a good, quality experience.

I won’t go into who I’ve been in other lives, etc, (as I already have in this forum & it’s not really relevant here) but I will say that I’ve yet to come across a lifetime being someone “famous or well-known”. Most have been very average other than some of the specific (& sometimes very traumatic) experiences in each life & death. This fact DOES NOT lessen the impact of the experience & knowledge gained one iota!!

I suggest, for this 1st experience, you don’t go into it with any expectations in terms of what you’ll see/find/learn or about the hypnosis itself, so that you’ll be very open to the whole experience. I found that my subsequent regressions were more gratifying because I already knew what to expect in terms of the logistics of hypnosis & what it actually feels like. I was then able to help myself along more & really facilitate my ‘visions’.

Use all of what you get to really learn about yourself (& others in your life)! See how your soul’s past experiences relate & influence you currently! It can be very eye-opening in that regard!!

Another benefit of (regression) hypnosis for me is that I was given the experience of speaking with deceased loved ones, which came about spontainiously & very unexpectedly!! That was the highlight for me =)

I believe this to be somewhat unusual, tho.

Hint: ask if your hypnotisit is planning on writing down what you say as apposed to ONLY a voice recording. I do both because when I’m ‘under’ I tend to speak really low & lazily & the recording is not always clear. You really don’t want to miss a thing 🙂

    Enjoy!!!!!

    EDIT:

Do understand, tho, that being ‘under’ is not as weird as you might preconceive. I am fully aware of my surroundings, my self & what I am saying (or thinking & seeing). Even tho you’re aware of surrounding noise, etc. you should be able to block it out enough to not be distracted by it (your hypnotist will/should suggest this to your subconsious when putting you under). Also, I get very chilled & shiver so I start with a warm blanket!

&, contrary to popular belief :), no one can make you ‘do’ anything under hypnosis that you would not otherwise do fully conscious!!!!

  • In Past Lives, Future Lives there is instructions for doing a regression. I did it on a friend and another friend did it to me a few times. I have no idea if it really worked or my brain was creating stories for me. The friend I did it to was a girl in the 1960s who fell in with a bad crowd and they accidentaly killed someone. I was a Victorian street child who was also mute and I “couldn’t” speak when I was asked questions. Another one was that I was the daughter of a well off family that supported the Revolution. And the other one that I remember was that I was a solider in the trenches of France during the first World War but I kept saying that I wasn’t allowed to say where I was. So none of my lives were anything special, just average lives. I have a degree in history, so who knows where it all came from.

The feeling is sort of like when you are about to fall asleep but are still concious and aware of what’s going on, but can’t really do anything about it.

Keep in mind that not everyone can be hypnotized, so don’t be disappointed if you aren’t. But if you do, have fun and don’t take it too seriously.

  • Well, my theory of it is that our cells of our bodies contain memories of our ancestors. I will have flashbacks of a time in the past (I was born in 69) mostly of the 30’s thought the late 40’s for some reason. I sometimes will have “flashbacks” or memories of at the turn of the middle ages but they are not clear. It only happens when something triggers it like music an action, a smell, or even an object. But, mostly I believe it is hereditary from ancestral lineage and not a regenerated soul. There is documentation of transplant patients that have dreams and memories of the persons life that donated their organs or tissue. That is why I base my theory on my “past” flashbacks.

  • I am really NOT a fan of hypnotic regression.

The problem is that we have three minds the subconsious, conscious, and superconscious minds.

These are the three parts of the soul. In Mongolian terms; they are called the ami, suns, and suld, In Jewish terms they are the nephesh, ruach, and neshammah, In Hawaiian terms they are the unihipili, uhane, and ‘aumakua. and in Freudian psychology they are called the id, ego, and super ego.

The problem is that while in hypnosis; the hypnotist is speaking to the subconscious mind. Unfortunately the subconscious mind has the reasoning ability of a five year old child, and the subconscious mind tries to be helpful in retrieving the information.

If the hypnotist is not specific enough in his or her questions; the subconscious mind can pull one record out of the akashic records at random instead of retrieving the specific record just because the hypnotist says tell me about a previous life instead of being specific and saying tell me about your previous life.

This is why there are 50+ people walking around all claiming to have been Cheopatra, or Alexander the great in a previous life.

  • All life, I was constantly looking for reasons why I felt so scared in closed spaces like lifts, small rooms etc. I found the source of my problem in my past, the fear went away and I feel a new found sense of freedom now. • Aanya..I would be so interested in what happens and how it goes for you….Please tell us when you have done it, and what you experienced…..Id love to have one done myself one day…

I never used to give past lives any thought at all, until recently enough….As i started becoming more spiritually aware, i started having some strange experiences, that are something to do with a past life of mine…So for now im doing my own spiritual exercises to bring out what ever is within me…Im already working out who i was, and when i last lived, its kind of all coming together for me, and a lady i chatted to, actually told me the same thing, who i was in my past life…….But im finding the whole experience quite fasinating….A past life regression in the end would be really good to finish my journey…..See if it all matches up…..

  • Aanya….Be sure and take someone else with you…who will be in the room with you. Esp. if it’s a man who is going to do it. ..because you should never be alone with a man when doing these things…I don’t care how much you trust him.

I’m not able to believe in past lives. I believe that if you tell about things that happen you a “past life” ..it’s a spirit speaking through you about THEIR life. That’s just the only way I can understand it. Makes more sense to me. But, I’m anxious to find out what happens to you. If you can’t tell it on here..I hope you’ll email me and tell me. Good Luck.

Edit..I don’t believe what someone said about not doing something you don’t want to do.When you’re with someone you trust who is a power figure to you and you want to please them by doing whatever they ask…even if you don’t want to…it can happen…esp. if you’re under their power..hypnosis. That’s why I said to be sure that you have somebody else with you.

  • From what I read about it, etc… I’d say it would be best to not have it done.

That it is only if you have some irrational fears which are ruining your life – then it may be worthwhile to do so.

Our past life generally has no connection with our current life – and we are not suppose to remember past lives.

    That is how it works…

  • Aanya, I understand you are interested in such things, but all I ask is that you are honest with yourself and consider the possibility that PLRs are just guided hypnosis. The “therapist” will guide you in the direction of the desired outcome. You will never provide any verifiable data about a person or place that you don’t know already.

  • I’ve done it, I saw my self doing some messed up stuff in a past life. But it isn’t so bad all the same.
