Here are a few I found.
Hi Kristian, If you paid for a credit search in California, you are entitled to a copy of it if you ask for it from the rental agency. One thing that happens on eviction searches that I’ve seen, is it will list “possible matches” that are people with the same name. I can usually tell when they are not the person I’m checking out, because they will have been listed in some state that doesn’t appear in their previous addresses on their credit report. It’s possible they used this as an excuse. Maybe they saw that you had just applied for home loan and thought you may not stay in the unit? That credit search would show up on your report.

I did not understand what location you are asking about, but Craigslist has temp rentals on beaches.
