on facebook it says my current session is on el monte, CA when I live buffalo, ny…what is going on here?also my msn homepage says I live in san jose, Ca…two different location!?!?!? I mean how can my current session on facebook say el mont while msn homepage says something different?

My guess is that it’s deriving that information based on your ISP. It could be tracing the location to which your IP is registered, which may be the locations you mentioned.
