Why do my 3 week old lab mix puppies have a blue haze in their eyes?

My 3 week old puppies were born under the house. At two weeks of age we got them out but have noticed they have a blue haze in their eyes and seem to not be able to see very well

  • Other then this being normal, why where they allowed to be born under your house?

Please have them checked now { way past their 1st visit } & get the b*tch spayed after they’re weaned.

There are tons of Lab crosses put to death hourly…. be the cure, not the cause.

  • Many pups are born with this “blue haze” and it dissipates between 3 1/2 and 4 weeks. If it still appears at 4 weeks you better let the vet have a look.

  • I hate when pet owners use the term “get rid of”. Surrender the puppy to a shelter or rescue. Or if you got the puppy from a reputable breeder, then take it back to the breeder. DO NOT punish your eldest dog because you thought it needed a companion and so forced it to live with PUPPIES of all things. Maybe your eldest dog doesn’t like having puppies around HIS territory. He’s probably fine at dog parks because that is neutral territory. But the fact that the dog ATTACKED and KILLED a puppy because it got to close to his food bowl means that he is NOT a dog that needs a companion at home. And after the dog killed the first puppy why ON EARTH would you get ANOTHER puppy the next day. In my opinion, this is all YOUR fault. That puppies death is on YOUR hands. The eldest dog needs a good trainer and behaviorist.

  • This is very normal! Most cats and dogs when they are very young have a blue color….then later the color changes. I had two cats that had blue eyes and then later they had darker eye color.

  • That is normal. It will go away when they get a bit older.
