Why don’t people like Audi?

I drive a B5 S4 and I love it. No complaints. Quattro is awesome. I know I’m biased but, why don’t people like Audi?

  • Many people love Audi’s. Honestly, I think the people who talk bad about them, have never actually owned one or driven one, and are just saying things that they have heard. People who don’t like audi’s that have owned one, (in my opinion) are usually those who were inexperienced with the make before they bought the car, or didn’t find out what was required before they got into it. Also, as far as the cost. They are not really that expensive to maintain as long as you don’t take it to the dealership, or you have a decent mechanic. If you can do it yourself, or know someone who can, thats even better. It’s really inexpensive if you can maintain it that way. There are many enthusiast websites for Audi’s to help people, but some people don’t know about them or bother to look. I love my Audi and it is my favorite out of all the cars I have owned, or ever driven.

  • too expensive to fix and insure. their owned by volkswagen which means high repair bills. all audi’s are either front or all wheel drive cars. most german cars are rear wheel drive

  • Audi is nice and lots of people would like one, but few want to pay that much extra when a VW is just as reliable and less expensive. Some of the engine options, like V6 and W8, are just more complex than they should be.

  • They generally cost more for repairs and insurance is more. I have 2 B5’s and a B6 and have had no major issues with mine, my family has had volkswagens and Audis sense the 60s and we have never had any major issues with any of them.
