Can i freeze potatoes wrapped in phyllo dough (bourekas)?

i would like to make potato bourekas and freeze them, but i was told that potatoes turn mealy in the freezer and i am also not sure what will happen to the phyllo dough

  • Well you answered the first half of your question yourself, the potato part.

    I wouldn’t worry about the dough too much. Lots of things made out of phyllo dough, that come frozen in the store. Sometimes prepackaged phyllo dough even comes frozen, albeit uncooked.
