Making my males bubble nest bigger?

My bettas spawned right around 7pm friday night which was two days ago. I noticed this Sunday morning that my eggs have hatched. The only problem is that the bubble nest is not there anymore well most of it anyway, and the babies were on the bottom of the tank. The male is actively retrieving them but the see them fall back down. He attempts to build on to his nest but does not succeed what can i do to increase the survival rate of the babies because i do not believe that they will survive at this rate.

  • was the water aged? it could just be too fresh of water. Did you add conditioner? Indian almond leaves? MAROXY?!? maroxy is a must, if you havn’t added it when you set up the tank like you were supposed to – add it now. do not wait to add it any second longer

They should be fine. He may even leave them on the bottom while he repairs the nest, but i’ve had fry survive when the male ate 3/4 of the eggs and i removed him the day after the spawn (not even hatched yet) 90% of the eggs saved hatched and are now free swimming.
