Has Tony Stewart devulged what NASCAR’s script for that race is yet? Ooops did I say that out load.

I am going with Jeff Gordon on this one. Usually after a long winless streak is broken he goes on a tear. I really believe he will go back to back and take Talledega.

I just pray the massive carnage of beer I witnessed when I was there in October doesn’t happen this time around. It is terrible and horrific to see thousands of can of full and partially full beer being slaughtered so senselessly by barbaric people.

Please people; for all that is Holy; if Jr. does not win; please don’t take it out of the beer. The beer has done no wrong.

Since it’s Talladega and a wreck can happen anywhere/anytime (just remember Vickers last year during the last lap), I have two list of possibel winners.

List 1–the Jeff’s (Gordon and Burton)

Mark Martin

Jimmie Johnson

Dale Jr.

Matt Kenseth (as much as it hurts to put his name here)

List 2–Due to wrecks, etc

Dale Jarrett

Denny Hamlin

Kevin Harvick

Boris Said (if he attempts and qualifies)

Kyle Busch

Anyone from Hendrick is a strong pick. notably (#1)Gordon, Johnson, Busch. Dale Jr. is a strong bet. except it seems over the last year he tends to make a costly mistake in the race usually when it’s too late to recover from it. Then there is Tony Stewart. Tony has been strong in the last couple of races. My sleeper pick is (drum roll……) Mark Martin ! How about that!! He continues to be strong. My top 3 picks:

1) Jeff Gordon

2) Tony Stewart

3) Mark Martin

Here’s my forcast based on the conspiracy theories around Nascar.

Earnhardt Jr, will have a magnificent race and will appear to be heading str8 for the win (btw he wll likely lay back for most of the race and come on strong in the end.) Jr will get a awfully agressive as he feels he needs this win and begin to be really frustrated as Johnson passes him with a cpl laps left to take the lead. Again Jr will have the best car and will appear to be destined for the win, but his line will get shuffled back as Johnson takes the lead, Jr will get agitated and will make a bad move and cause the big one with 3 to 4 laps left in the race.

Johnson or Gordon will go on to take the win.

Although, I’d prefer to see Kenseth or Hamlin win it. (Kenseth is usually good at Talladega, though he hasn’t had a win there).

Hamlin just looks impressive at any track.

My Sleeper pick for the race is Jamie McMurray. He always seems to run well at Talladega, and he now is in a car capable of winning with Roush-Fenway. Plus he has been running well this season and is long overdue for his second career win.

The more obvious choice would be a Hendrick’s car. They are dominating so far this year, and it would be no big surprise.

Jeff Gordon or Tony Stewart. Jr. has won a restrier plate race in 3 yrs. because the competition has caught up to him

I would have to go with Gordon as the first choice,He could break Dale Sr record for most wins.

Then I would look at Matt Kenseth,a strong Ford and a good racer at Talladega.

Jimmie Johnson,Tony Stewart and Junior could have a chance.

But now I would go with Gordon.

It depends on who’s still running at the end. This year has been crazy so far. The top dogs aren’t running with the lead pack. OK, 3 of the Hendrick cars are stealing the show. But, whatever. Look at Dave Blaney and Jeff Green… not stellar season in the grand sceme of things, but great for them! They are running well each week. You could go with the obvious… J Gordon, Johnson, Burton, Stewart. But, I hope Mears, Vickers, or one of the other underdogs can take Dega.
