  • Oh my gosh, That is so heartbreaking. Last year (I will never forget). I was walking down the street and a baby crow was in the grass inbetween multiple tall skyscraper-like trees and the mother crow was flying all around going crazy, swooping down and hopping from tree to tree, she was yelling and screaming and the baby crow was crying out but she couldnt see it. I stood by for about 45 minutes to make sure she found her baby. She never did, she even flew away to another part of the surrounding areas for minutes. She could hear the bird but she couldnt find it, everytime the baby cried she would lose her mind. I eventually walked away and had to let it go even though it was terrible if I touched the bird she would disown it, there was nothing I could do. I guess you could call animal patrol but even they couldnt raise it, even if they did the bird wouldnt be right. Its missing a big part of its development but I dont know…

  • It’s a myth that if you touch a baby animal the mother will reject it. Birds don’t have very developed sense of smells, so there’s no danger of that happening in this case.

Try to take it to an animal expert or if that’s not possible, keep it warm and fed.

  • Check if the mom is dead if u can’t find it leave the babies alone for 2 hours if the mom isn’t there get the babies and try to take care of them until they can fly or get the babies to a animal shelter

  • Call a wildlife or wild bird rescue center to ask when you can drop off the bird. They will have everything needed to raise it & release it when it is ready. Your vet or your towns animal control may be able to refer you & of course a google search will bring up a list of places. http://www.wildcarebayarea.org/site/DocServer/9-16…

  • You must take them to a neighborhood vet. Definitelydo not maintain them for your own. A vet will take them to a bird sanctuary for you and the birds can be released back into the wild when they are ancient ample. Just do not preserve them.

  • Keep it n feed n water it, it’s siblings may have pushed it out of the nest
